On April 16, Battlefield 2042 will launch the Crimson Front event

EA and DICE have announced the launch of the first temporary event for Battlefield 2042 Season 7, called "Crimson Front". The event will start on April 16 and run until April 30, and with it the "Front Line" mode, familiar from Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V, will return to the game.

In this mode, participants will have to infiltrate enemy territory, capture key areas and finally place explosives to complete missions. The "Front Line" mode will be playable on four locations: "Sanctuary", "Return", "Debris" and "Classified".

The event will also feature special skins. Some of these can be earned by completing quests to obtain patches, while other cosmetic items will be available for purchase with real-world funds.
