The creators of the Silent Hill 2 remake are making another new game

Bloober Team, known for projects like The Medium and Layers of Fear, recently shared their expectations for the Silent Hill 2 remake, expressing great confidence in the project's success in their annual report.

Portal Eurogamer notes that about half of the team was involved in the development of Silent Hill 2 in 2023, aiming to deliver a deep emotional experience for fans of the original as well as new audiences. According to the developers, this game will shift the focus from the series' usual narrative through environments to dynamic action, which is an unusual move for Silent Hill, especially for a second installment.

In addition, the report mentions that Bloober Team is working on a new project called Projekt C, created on the basis of a new intellectual property with the support of publisher Private Division, part of Take-Two Interactive.

Not much is known about the new game yet, only that it could come out in 2025, though release dates could change due to possible delays.
